Conejos, Colorado

Conejos is an unincorporated town, a U.S. Post Office, and the County Seat of Conejos County, Colorado, United States. Conejos has the distinction of being the only unincorporated county seat in Colorado. It has a population of about 1,200. The town is located in the San Luis Valley. Conejos is a historic site of Spanish colonization. About 60% of the town's population can trace their roots back to Spain.
