[edit] Plot
As Division Chief Blevins expresses his concern with the direction of the X-Files department, Mulder becomes obsessed with solving a case that closely parallels an 'encounter' he experienced as a child... the abduction of his younger sister, Samantha. The episode starts off with Ruby getting abducted in an obscure lake. The boy of the family starts having nightmares and becomes a conduit (the medium between the aliens and his family) he is scribbling binary which was later translated to pictures of Leonardo Da Vinci's Vitruvian Man and the Double helix found in DNA and defense codes to American satellites.
