Concrescentism

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Concrescentism an applied complex technique and approach to the arts, especially design and sculpture, which borrows identifiable elements or recognizable visual traits from diverse artistic disciplines or movements. Concrescentists then attempt through analysis, experimentation, and the methodical application of representational processes or methods extracted from other artistic movements or schools, to cross-combine the extracted elements in interpretational functional designs. This approach evolves hybrid artistic designs which differ entirely in appearance and composition from designs produced by the adherents of those original movements and schools.
