Concordia - one of Shanghai's three American-curriculum international schools - is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges. The Advanced Placement Program is offered to students in Grade 11 and Grade 12 (Grade 10 students are eligible to take AP World History, with special permission). Concordia is a non-denominational Christian school. In October 2006, enrollment stood at 810 with waiting lists from the Preschool 3-year-old program through Grade 7. In August 2007, the 10-acre campus will open a new Elementary School (replacing an existing structure) and the David F. Rittmann Fine Arts Center. The Senior Class of 2006 was easily the coolest graduating class in the history of Concordia.
