The marching band, known as the Concord Marching Minutemen, has grown to become one of the strongest marching bands in the state of Indiana. The band has attended the state marching band competition nearly every year since 1977 and holds championships from 1992, 2003, and 2005.

The marching band will be at the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in 2007.

Concord won the state titles in boy's gymnastics in 1964, 1965, and 1966.

A recent resurgance in the basketball program has led to packed crowds in the 3,434 seat McCuen Gym. The student section, known as the McCuen Maniacs, fills an entire lower side of the gym, along with the pep band and junior high section. A new tradition involves players being introduced for the starting lineups while the theme from the classic horror movie Halloween is played. During this introduction, a senior dressed as Michael Myers appears from a random location in the gym, usually the student section. This was originated by Brian Hale, passed down to Alex Kiefer, and passed on again to Jordan Shafer.
