I read your note at User Talk:Jason Gastrich, that was a nice thing to say. It seems to me that some of the Southern Baptist movement bears a striking resemblance to the Pharisees - when Christ challenges people the lesson we are to draw is often not that we, too, should challenge people in the same way, but that we should look within our own thoughts and actions for those things which Christ opposes.
