[edit] AMA Requests

A discussion on how to restructure and improve the AMA is going on at AMA talk page and meeting points are being drafted for the next Meeting. Everyone is invited to help build a consensus as to how to improve and correct issues with the AMA.

Currently, I am not acting as an advocate in any cases. In order for me to act as an advocate:

  1. I must not be involved in the dispute
  2. I must not be acting as mediator, or have acted in mediation, in this dispute
  3. You must be civil at all times to the advocate
  4. I have a right to deny any case

[edit] Questions:

Have you read the AMA FAQ?

  • Answer: Yes

How would you describe the nature of this dispute? (policy violation, content dispute, personal attack, other)

  • Answer: Abuse of power really.

What methods of Dispute Resolution have you tried so far? If you can, please provide wikilinks so that the Advocate looking over this case can see what you have done.

  • Answer: Tried to initiate discussions, but the problem is that this user is particularly tenacious and keeping his POV. That, and how can make things correct, when you have a majority of users that happen to hold for one particular POV?

What do you expect to get from Advocacy?

  • Answer: Help on dealing with this issue. Hopefully assistance in actually using the correct names for pages. For example, the Italian Province of Bolzano-Bozen (BZ) is now moved to South Tyrol.
