I've heard Genesys has the largest amount of market in CTI and Cisco is second. Cisco has books available at reasonable prices (under $100) for people to train themselves with. Whereas Genesys and Nortel both require you to pay the same amount as their training courses just to get a book (upwards of $1000). I think with regard to the availability of training, Cisco will have a lower TCO and become a more popular solution for businesses. The history of the CTI is closely related to fall of the Soviet Union in early 1990's, and since most of the technolofy baseline was developed by physics and mathematics PHD's from Moscow universities. Actualy to be a little more precise the Genesys founders were actually ex-ballistic missile scientists. Who says CTI isnt rocket science....
