I don't know of any way to introduce this within the nPOV, but ... somehow relevant to this article is the tendency of some Latin American politicians to highlight themselves as being of mixed (mestizo) heritage as a type of "common man" appeal even if their cultural or ethnic heritage is dominantly European.
