I was actually going to write this article later tonight; it's a ridiculously complex subject, and even a bit of preliminary research was discouraging enough.

There are actually several families whose members share the name "blenny"; it's about as specific as calling something a "minnow". Even the name "sabre-toothed blenny" is hardly standard and not confined to one species. Ah well.. I'll try to sort it out later. -- Hadal 23:03, 28 Feb 2004 (UTC)

Looks like we did an edit at the same time, I added what you had to mine, altough the info about the sabre toothed blenny should go into the seperate requested article....

Oh, here's the old piece of the article that should go into the sabre toother blenny article:

One species of blenny (the sabre-tooth blenny) imitates the "dance" of a similarly colored species of cleaner wrasse, and tricks fish into offering their underparts over to be cleaned. Instead of eating parasites off the scales of the fish, the sabre-tooth blenny bites the victim and rushes away.

[edit] Could use a new image

I deleted the old one since it didn't have any source or copyright info, so putting in a request for a new one. --Sherool (talk) 19:53, 28 November 2005 (UTC)

New PD image added, so I removed the image request template.-Dr Haggis - Talk 18:30, 16 January 2006 (UTC)
