[edit] Highlights

Compass Point Shopping Centre is Singapore's first thematic sub-urban shopping centre based on the theme of learning. One highlight of the shopping centre is the numerous information boards mounted along railings and on walls featuring interesting trivia based on particular themes which are updated periodically.

The shopping centre has been in operation since August 2002, and is spread out over four storeys and a basement. Every storey of the shopping centre is named after each of the world's continents:

Compass Point Shopping Centre has an approximate lettable area of 25,000 square metres (266,000 square feet). Compass Point Shopping Centre is currently managed by Frasers Centrepoint, formerly known as Centrepoint Properties, and the major tenants include Cold Storage, Metro, National Library Board, Courts, Popular Bookstore and Kopitiam food court.

[edit] Accessibility

Compass Point Shopping Centre is well-served by public transport, being located just next to the Sengkang North East Line Interchange, the Sengkang Bus Interchange and the Sengkang Light Rail Transit Station. Being easily accessible, the shopping centre serves as the main sub-urban shopping mall for residents of Sengkang New Town.
