CompassLearning, Inc. is an Austin-based developer of educational software in the United States. Their products offer instruction on all the required subjects specified by the No Child Left Behind Act. Their software is web-based and used by nearly 90% of public schools.[citation needed]
[edit] CompassLearning Odyssey
Compass Learning Odyssey is a browser-based application that school districts can use to educate students on a variety of PreK-12 subjects. The program can be used to track student, class, school, and district data, aggregate and disaggregate the data, and produce detailed reports in compliance with NCLB requirements.
The instructional activities can be accessed online from any computer, with the proper account information. The subjects currently offered include: Reading/Language Arts, Writing, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, ESL and Special Education. They are also rapidly expanding their Spanish-language programs in various subjects.
All of Compass Learning's programs are researched from the ground level and come with the approval of countless teaching organizationsacross the country.
