Founded in 1959, Company of Angels [1]provides a space for actors and other theater artists to work at their craft free of commercial constraints. The original Company, incorporated by legendary entertainment attorney Bertram Fields, included actors Richard Chamberlain, Leonard Nimoy and Vic Morrow. Now in it’s forty seventh year, Company of Angels is the oldest repertory theater in Los Angeles. Along the way the company has received almost every Los Angeles theatrical award, including The LA Drama Critics Circle Award, the Drama-Logue Award, the LA Weekly Award, and the Ovation Award. During this time the company has been sustained solely by its membership who continue to create exciting work that is now dedicated to reflecting the City of Angels.
