Community Shares of Greater Milwaukee

Community Shares of Greater Milwaukee (formerly known as ACHOICE) funds and supports social and environmental organizations in metropolitan Milwaukee through employee-giving programs in the workplace. Community Shares has been funding the non-profit work of its member agencies since 1981.
Organizations in the Community Shares federation address a wide range of issues, including:
- working to end, prevent and help those affected by
- crime
- drug abuse
- racism
- sexism
- homophobia
- unemployment
- violence
- homelessness
- child abuse
- working to improve upon and promote
- civil liberties
- environmental sustainability
- education in a range of areas, including
- voter education
- job training
- education of children
- animal welfare
- quality of life for the elderly
- neighborhood development
- fair, affordable housing
- safe, just work environments
- civil, human and consumer rights
Community Shares runs both private sector and public sector workplace-giving campaigns.
