Telephone system: above-average system (expensive). Basically a one carrier monopoly, BTL inc. However a new company, Speed Net, is now offering cellular service.

international: satellite earth station - 1 Intelsat (Atlantic Ocean); international dialing code - +501
Radio broadcast stations: AM 1, FM 12, shortwave 0 (1998)
Radios: 133,000 (1997)
Television broadcast stations: 3 (2007) Channel 7 and Channel 5 in Belize City and and additional Channel in Orange Walk Town.
Televisions: 41,000 (1997)
Internet Service Providers (ISPs): There are several ISPs in Belize: BTL, Speednet and others.
