Common (language)

Common is a fictional language used in many science fiction and fantasy universes, most commonly books. Common is nearly identical to English, but referred to as Common for fiction's sake. Whenever an author refers to a universal language that is spoken by all races, cultures, species, and nations in the story it is usually simply referred to as Common. The language itself may not be called Common such as Star Wars with Galactic Basic.
