[edit] Location
The Commercial Drive Station is located deep within the Grandview Cut, near the corner of Commercial Drive and Grandview Hwy North, in Vancouver. It is on the outskirts of Vancouver's Little Italy district.
[edit] History
The Commercial Drive Station was built in 2002 as the temporary terminus of the first segment of the Millennium Line, with connections to Broadway of the Expo Line. It has since been extended westbound by one kilometre, out of the Grandview Cut to VCC-Clark.
[edit] Services
The station provides a transfer point to Translink bus routes serving Broadway (most notably the 99 B-Line to the University of British Columbia) and the Commercial/Victoria corridor, as well as the Expo Line, via an elevated walkway and elevator to Broadway Station. At ground level, there are several stores, including A&W and Shoppers Drug Mart, which serve passengers and other passersby.
