Established in 1983, The Commerce Casino is the largest card casino in the world, with over 240 tables. Commerce Casino hosts the annual L.A. Poker Classic Tournament, the California State Poker Championship and weekly poker tournaments, as well as two stops on the World Poker Tour.
The Commerce Casino offers all forms of poker including Mexican Poker, Five-card stud, Seven-card stud , Texas hold 'em and Omaha Hi-Lo Split. Limit, pot limit and no limit games are offered.
Commerce also offers Panguingue (Pan), No Bust Blackjack, Caribbean Stud, 21st Century Baccarat, Pai Gow Poker, Super Pan Nine, 13 Card (Chinese poker).
The Commerce spreads more Texas Hold 'em games than any other casino in the world. Games with limits of 1-2, 2-4, 3-6, 4-8, 6-12, and 9-18 exist on the main floor, with larger limit games in the Hotel. No Limit Hold 'em games have buy-ins as low as $40 and go much higher.
The Casino's bad beat jackpots sometimes grow into six figures. The jackpot amounts are doubled at regular times during the week. Between 11am-12pm and 7am-8pm daily Commerce Casino offers a $100,000 Super Jackpot for Hold 'em.
The Commerce has recently instituted a twenty minute time out rule for throwing objects including chairs at dealers during tournaments.

The Commerce Casino is home to several of the oldest and largest poker tournament series.
- The Los Angeles Poker Classic occurs each year starting in late January and running through early March. This is Commerce's major tournament of the year, involving a World Poker Tour event, a Professional Poker Tour event and the celebrity event, the World Poker Tour Invitational.
- The California State Poker Championship occurs each year in September since 2003. Before that, it ran through June. The switch occurred when June started to conflict with the World Series of Poker.
- Heavenly Holdem occurs each year in May. It is a tournament with smaller buy-ins where every event is Texas hold 'em.
- The Holiday Bonus Tournament occurs each year in December.

The Crowne Plaza Hotel is a full service hotel featuring 200 deluxe guest rooms and suites with fully stocked mini bars, three telephones, high-speed internet connection, and -- in selected rooms -- Jacuzzi-style baths. The hotel also features dining establishments, the Splash day spa and beauty salon, pool and sundeck, banquet rooms, shops and entertainment.

The Commerce is also home to the New York Deli, the Las Vegas Buffet, the Arena Sports Bar and Grill, and GT's Sushi Bar. The Tropical Snack bar features Starbucks Coffee. Players can also enjoy full meals, beverages and cocktails right at their table.
Commerce Casino offers a variety of entertainment including live bands, The Joker's Comedy Night featuring comedian Rudy Moreno, and Karaoke with Dion James and his assistant Neptune.
Players can bring members of a home game to the Casino and they will provide game instruction, dealers, a pit boss, cards, chips and poker snacks. The "home" games act as live cash games and are eligible for jackpots.
