Comment is free
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Comment is free, often abbreviated as CiF, is the comment and political opinion weblog site from Guardian Unlimited. It contains all of the comment and opinion pieces from The Guardian and The Observer newspapers, plus contributions from over 600 writers and bloggers. It was built by Ben Hammersley from a design by Mark Porter, and is currently edited by Georgina Henry and Matt Seaton.
[edit] Accusations of censorship
Despite post-moderating comments (unlike the majority of blogs on broadcaster and newspapers' websites) CiF has been accused of censorship, with some its readers angry that comments in breach of Guardian Unlimited's talk policy are deleted —- Georgina Henry has admitted deleting up to 40 comments at a time.[1]
