CommVault Systems

CommVault Systems Incorporated is a United States based company specializing in data and storage management software. Created in 1988 as a development group in AT&T's Bell Labs, the group produced AT&T's in-house backup software, Automatic Backup, Archive and Recovery Software. AT&T CommVault was spun off with Lucent in 1996 and later that year went private with a management buyout. Their current headquarters are located in Oceanport, New Jersey. The company began publicly trading (NASDAQ: CVLT) in September 2006.
