Coming of the Fuzors is the two-part season 2 episode of the Beast Wars series, which first aired on November 2, 1997.

Silverbolt, Quickstrike and a third Maximal in stasis pods fell to Earth. Damaged in planetfall, Quickstrike and Silverbolt's pods mixed up the genetic scans of local life forms when formatting them, causing them to emerged in bizarre hybrid forms. The third Maximal does not survive. Silverbolt's beast mode is a combination of eagle and wolf while Quickstrike is a combination of scorpion and cobra. Discovered by Megatron, the new Maximals were convinced they were Predacons. Although they believed Megatron at first, Silverbolt quickly found he didn't fit in with the Predacons.

In an attack on the Maximal base Silverbolt learned he had more in common with the Maximals and switched sides, but the violent Quickstrike eagerly remained with the Predacons.
