The Comentarios Reales de los Incas is a book that was written by the Inca Garcilaso de la Vega. According to many critics, this is the best prose of the colonial period in Peru.

The Comentarios Reales de los Incas constitutes the masterpiece of the Inca Garcilaso de la Vega. It splits into two parts; the first part appeared in 1609 and the second part in 1616.
