Combermere Barracks

Combermere Barracks, Windsor, is a British military installation one mile from Windsor Castle. It is home of the Household Cavalry Regiment.

The men (and now women) of the Household Division sometimes have been required to undertake special tasks at the Castle as the Sovereign’s personal troops. The Household Cavalry were called to Windsor Castle on 20th November 1992, to assist with salvage operations in the face of the Great Fire.
