Microsoft Combat Flight Simulator 4 is upcoming sequel to Microsoft's successful game, Combat Flight Simulator 3. Microsoft has been searching for a 3-D programmer for a "version 4 of the highly successful Combat Flight Simulator franchise. The release date of this game was going to be on the 2004 holidays. Since then, Combat Flight Simulator 4 was never mention on the Microsoft website again. Combat Flight Simulator 4 is not completely canceled. There is still a chance for Combat Flight Simulator 4 to come out.

There is still a possible future for this game to come. There is a high chance that the game is currently in Development Hell. If Combat Flight Simulator is 100% Canceled, Microsoft would have told everyone about it. A strange thing is that the original job posting on microsoft.com has been deleted meaning that they may have already found the person and started working. Also recently a lot of websites are starting to pop up with a Combat Flight Simulator 4 page. Microsoft also has announced that Combat Flight Simulator 4 is not Completly dead which means that the game is not Canceled and will come out soon.
