This is not the Colorado City that was once the capital of Colorado. The original Colorado City was the 1st Territorial capital of Colorado. It is a National Historic District located within the city limits of the modern day Colorado Springs.

Correct. Colorado City, Pueblo County, Colorado is not the same locality as Colorado City (district of Colorado Springs), El Paso County, Colorado. --avnative 16:33, September 7, 2005 (UTC)
