According to the Seabiscuit article, the owner was Charles Howard during the racing period up to 1940. He died in 1950. I guess Robert Howard may have been a relative. -- Beardo 14:34, 17 October 2006 (UTC)

Yes, you are right. Robert was his son. It says "Robert Howard followed in his father's footsteps, becoming the owner of a Buick dealership in Beverly Hills, California, and raising horses." HTC 15:32, 17 October 2006 (UTC)

Though Seabiscuit died in 1947 and Charles Howard in 1950, so I wonder if Robert ever actually owned the horse.

PS what source were you quoting there ? -- Beardo 17:11, 17 October 2006 (UTC)

I got it from the History page of the hotel's web site and the article http://www.thedesertsun.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20060528/BUSINESS01/605280330. Would it help if I just removed that part of the article? HTC 02:42, 19 October 2006 (UTC)
