I have removed some speculation as well as stuff that was just incorrect. I have also tried to make it more encyclopaedic by changing to past tense and splitting it up into categories. Also I have added stuff that I gleaned from re-watching "Flight of the Phoenix". I am not sure how much more information could possibly be added so have removed the stub tag. Hate to burst your happy bubble, but you didn't improve this one bit, what you did was ad a bunch of useless plot details rather than discuss the ship itself. All the drama behind it's buidling should only be in the "Flight of the Phoenix" episode so your just rewriting whats already in another article. Cyberia23 06:33, 17 April 2006 (UTC)

I have not added that much information really - if you read the revision prior to mine you'll see I have actually removed a fair bit of false plot detail and only added stuff that is directly related to the Blackbird. Also if you look at that episode guide it is a lot less comprehensive than this article. Almost all of the information here is relevant to the current article. As to whether I didn't improve the article one bit. Well I think that is certainly harsh. At least compare the versions before making an overarching statement like that. [edit] collides with a Raider

Just my 2 cents - I've seen it twice, but it was some time ago, and I thought the blackbird had collided with a Cylon Raider and not a Colonial Raptor as the article claims.

I agree, I rewatched the episodes and it definately looks like the Blackbird collides with a Raider.

I also agree, the blackbird did collide with a Raider, not a raptor. If anyone wishes to contest the change, please place your comments here. Rajrajmarley 02:29, 10 February 2007 (UTC)

Unfortunately, they are clearly incorrect. Had they watched it frame-by-frame, they would have seen that the blackbird collided into the debris of a Raptor, not a Raider. Sorry. -- Joe Beaudoin Jr. ^{Think out loud} 05:16, 10 February 2007 (UTC)

Okay, after watching the scene frame by frame, I have to say that it looks like it was really a piece of debris. Whether or not it was from a Colonial Raptor, I can't say, but it was not a raider. I think the confusion comes from seeing the squadron of raiders in the background right before the Blackbird impacts. Again, I have confirmed that it was a piece of debris that the blackbird collided with, not a raider. I'll try to get a screenshot if I can. Rajrajmarley 00:17, 15 February 2007 (UTC)
