The Columbus Municipal School District is a public school district based in Columbus, Mississippi (USA).

In addition to Columbus, the district also serves the children of Columbus Air Force Base military personnel.

There were a total of 4,967 students enrolled in the Columbus Municipal School District during the 2005-2006 school year. The gender makeup of the district was 49% female and 51% male. The racial makeup of the district was 85% African American, 13% White, 1% Hispanic, 1% Asian, and less than 1% Native American.[1]
