Colpton

Colpton is a small rural community is located on the Lunenburg-Queen County line in Nova Scotia. Settled in the early 1800s, it originally was named Lower Pleasant River after its neighboring community. In the early 1900s, its name was changed to Colpton due to the high percentage of Colps living in the area.
