Colosseum II
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Colosseum II is a British band that came from the ashes of the band Colosseum. The band was formed by the drummer of Colosseum Jon Hiseman in 1975. The band featured Don Airey, John Mole and Gary Moore. The sound was oriented toward Jazz fusion much of which was based around the guitar work of Moore, a much heavier sound than the original Colosseum band. After three successful albums the band decided to end the project with Moore joining Thin Lizzy for a fourth spell.
