Colorans (White elm cultivar)

The European White Elm U. laevis cultivar Colorans was listed by Kirchner in Petzold & Kirchner Arb. Muscav 559, 1864 as U. effusa (: laevis) var. colorans, and described as having leaves turning a beautiful scarlet red in autumn, not golden. The tree was never cultivated in the UK.
