[edit] Academics

Colorado Christian University offers 21 majors and and 20 minors. There are also two pre-professional programs: one is for students intending to go on to law school, and the other is for students who wish to pursue a medical degree.

[edit] History

The college was founded in 1914 as the Denver Bible Institute, which became the Denver Bible College and then, in 1949, changed its name to become Rockmont College. In 1981, Rockmont merged with Western Bible College, renaming itself Colorado Christian College; in 1989, Colorado Christian College merged with Colorado Baptist University to become Colorado Christian University.
