The Colorado 14ers are a team in the NBA Development League which began play in 2006-07. They are affiliated with the Denver Nuggets, New Jersey Nets, and the Toronto Raptors of the NBA. The 14ers play their home games at the Broomfield Event Center in the Denver suburb of Broomfield, Colorado. They are named for the many high 14,000-foot mountain peaks Colorado is famous for. The team was originally scheduled to play in the Continental Basketball Association.
