Colonial Airlines
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Colonial Airlines was a Canadian airline from the 1940s and 1950s with bases in Montreal and at LaGuardia Airport in New York. It was formerly known as well as Canadian Colonial Airways and Colonial Airways before becoming Colonial Airlines. The airline operated until 1956 when it was acquired by Eastern Air Lines. A few years following the merger, many of the airline's more rural destinations were stopped.
