Colonel Richardson High School is located in Federalsburg, Maryland and is named for William Richardson from the Revolutionary War. Established in 1962 as South Caroline High School, it continues to serve the southern end of Caroline County, Maryland. Students attending Colonel Richardson are typically from nearby Federalsburg or Preston. CRHS has a total of around 600 students in grades 9 through 12. Colonel offers 24 JV and Varsity sports and 16 active clubs throughout the school year. The small town atmosphere contributes to the success of the school.

Note: Clubs at Colonel Richardson are a great way to get students involved in extra-curricular activities. A wide variety of clubs are available for students to take part in. For students to be involved in clubs, they must be in good standing. The student in good standing policy requires that students maintain a minimum 2.0 Grade Point Average. They must also have no school or library obligations.
