Collins Hill High School is a high school in Suwanee, Georgia. The school is operated by Gwinnett County Public Schools. Open in 1994 the student population of Collins Hill has grown from 1377 to 3570+ students. The mascot of Collins Hill is the Screaming Eagle. The school has a population of 3,553 as of May 2006. Collins Hill's principal academic and athletic rival is nearby North Gwinnett High School. The two schools' annual football meeting is referred to as the "Suwanee Bowl." In 2005-06, The Girl's Softball team, Boys and Girl's Track, Cross Country, and Girl's Basketball Team were state AAAAA champions, and the school was awarded the Director's Cup for having the top AAAAA sports program in the state of Georgia. So far in 2006-2007 school year the Girl's Cross Country team has captured the AAAAA state title, and the Girl's Basketball team is currently ranked #1 in the nation by USA Today*[1].
