College of Applied Science and Technology

The College of Applied Science and Technology (CAST) is one of the original colleges of the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT). CAST encompasses 20% of RIT's enrollment. The college was the first New York technical school to offer an associate's degree in Applied Science.

In 1997, The American College of Management and Technology (ACMT) was founded by an international partnership between CAST and The Ministry of Science and Technology of the Republic of Croatia, and the Polytechnic of Dubrovnik. The ACMT is the only private educational institution in Croatia that offers both American and Croatian degrees.
