Colin Walsh (born July 22, 1962) is a former footballer who played for Nottingham Forest and Charlton Athletic amongst others. He was born in Hamilton, Scotland.

He made his league debut for Nottingham Forest on Saturday November 29, 1980 as a substitute in a 1-1 draw at Coventry City. He was 18 years old. He made 115 League appearances, plus 24 as sub, for Forest with 32 goals scored. Whilst at Forrest he was picked for a strong Scottish side but never got off the bench. He left Forest for Charlton Athletic in September 1986. The club were in exile from the Valley at the time and after playing at Crystal Palace's Selhurst Park ground from 1985 until 1991, and West Ham United's Upton Park ground from 1991 they had the victorious return to the Valley on Saturday December 5, 1992.[citation needed]

The midfielder was the hero of the day as he scored the only goal of the game in the 7th minute to help the Addicks beat Portsmouth, who had former Valley hero Paul Walsh (no relation) in their team as substitute that day, 1-0.[citation needed]
