Colin Steele

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Colin Steele is a jazz trumpeter from Scotland.

He originally played pop-music, but he became dissatisfied with that. After two years in France he studied jazz at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. He has been known for influences from Latin music and funk, but in the last five years he has been increasingly influenced by Scottish folk music. This influence has become more notable in his current group Colin Steele's Stramash.
