Colin Campsie

Colin Campsie (born 1957) is a British born singer and song writer

He is a former member of 1980s pop bands The Quick and Giant Steps. He was also closely involved with, but was not a member of, pop band Go West.

Laterly he has turned his talents to song writing, including the spoof Chantelle Houghton "hit" "I Want It Right Now" (originally slated for Kylie Minogue) via the spoof group Kandy Floss. He has also written tracks for Natalie Imbruglia ("Don't You Think?" and "Wishing I Was There" on Imbruglia's debut album "Left of the Middle"), and the top ten hit by Hepburn "I Quit" (a song which Natalie rejected for her album).

After meeting backstage at a Tears for Fears concert, Campsie is married to singer Beverley Craven, and the couple have three daughters. Campsie and Craven used to own the top & bottom flats in a three-storey house in London. When the person in the middle moved out, they bought the flat and converted the building back into one house ^[1] The family now live in Buckinghamshire
