Colin Brooks (musician)

Colin Brooks is a drummer from Little Rock, AR. He started playing at a young age and has been a member of over 15 bands over the years. Brooks was given the nickname "the machine" at an early age due to his precision and energy. After playing in many Little Rock bands, Brooks moved to New York to further pursue his musical career. Brooks played drums on the Dan Zanes and Friends album "Catch That Train!" which won the 2007 Grammy Award for Best Musical Album for Children.
Brooks goes back to Little Rock frequently to play with his rock band, The Big Cats with old friends Burt Taggart, Jason White and Josh Bentley.
Brooks recently toured with the Canadian indie rock band The Stills. Brooks currently resides in Brooklyn, New York.

In Little Rock, Colin played drums in Substance, G, The Numbskulz and Shatner. As a joke and a challenge, Brooks played guitar instead of drums in Red 40 alongside Ben Nichols (frontman of Lucero).
