Coleytown Middle School is a middle school in Westport, Connecticut. It is the smallest public middle school in Westport, and it feeds into Staples High School.
It contains 6 "teams" (teams of 4 teachers, of which approximately 80 students belong to each one), two in each grade. They are:
- 6th grade:
- Orcas
- Dolphins
- 7th grade
- Patriots
- Stars
- 8th grade:
- Tigers
- Mustangs
There is some level of competition between the two teams of the school, Green and White. They receive "spirit points" for participation in Spirit Days. Examples of Spirit Days in the past have been Dress-Alike Day, Pajama Day, Sports Day, etc. At the end of the school year, whichever team receives the most spirit points wins.
Every Thanksgiving they have the Giving Assembly, when they donate food and money to the needy.
