Coleen Nolan

Coleen Nolan (born 12 March 1965, in Blackpool, Lancashire) is an English television presenter and former singer. She was the youngest member of the band, The Nolans in which she sang alongside her sisters. She has presented such shows as This Morning, alongside Twiggy. She has also been a panellist on The Wright Stuff, as well as a regular on Loose Women and has taken part in the reality TV programmes, Celebrity Fit Club and Have I Been Here Before?

In 1990, she married Shane Richie and they had two children together. They divorced in 1999. In 2005, she caused controversy in the media, when she admitted, live on Loose Women, that if her son, Shane, passed his GCSE exams, she would pay for him to go to Amsterdam to sleep with a prostitute.

She courted further controversy in 2007, when on the 29th January edition of Loose Women during a debate about the Catholic church/gay adoption rights row, she publicly stated that she believed gay couples should not be allowed to adopt children at all, although she claimed that she is not homophobic.
