He is from Tucson, Arizona and attended Sabino High School where he played for the Sabercat's football team.

Ford played for the University of Southern California.

Ford played between 1995 and 1998 for the National Football League Oakland Raiders. He was drafted in the 7th Round (247th pick overall) of the 1995 NFL Draft by the Pittsburgh Steelers.[1]

Ford suffers from paranoid schizophrenia. In October 2004 he shot a gun toward the house of Siegfried & Roy, but has received probation from the Las Vegas authorities to seek counseling.
