Cole Carpenter (real name: Jim Erickson), born in 1957, is a retired American porn model and pornographic actor from the mid 1980s. Generally attractive, muscular and hairy, Carpenter was in his late 20s when he entered the porn industry. He is 5'10" or 178 cm tall with a 9" or 23 cm circumcised penis.^{[citation needed]}

He performed as an exclusive top in gay and bisexual pornographic movies, except on Tyger Tales in 1986. In Tyger Tales, Carpenter makes a point of demanding that Michael Ram use a rubber to fuck him. When they reversed roles, Carpenter and Ram engaged in bareback sex. Some people believe that the risk of HIV transmission is significantly higher for the bottom than the top.^{[citation needed]}

Shortly after Carpenter turned 30, he retired from the porn industry. He currently lives in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
