Coda Dolce

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Coda Dolce is an electronic band formed in Seattle, Washington in late 1998 by Sean Whitehead. Throughout the late 90’s, Sean Whitehead worked relentlessly developing the sound as well as his vocal talent. Sean Whitehead was groomed by the late music/vocal mentor, David Kyle of Seattle, Washington. In the year 2000 his blend of electro/acoustic style music caught the eye of longtime friend and music partner Robert Bustamante of Fektion Fekler. Robert and Sean decided to work on a project together and thus the band Moksha was created. The result was A People Undone an album which would go on to hit the top 25 of the RPM charts.

Coda Dolce is now signed with Synthcere Records and is expecting its next release in September of 2006 and a follow up EP "Licorice and Painkillers" in December 2006.

The band’s politics, aesthetics and hardworking ethos- largely inspired by the electronic music of the 80’s and contemporary art has established itself as a key element of the burgeoning electronic scene.
