The Coat of arms of Dewsbury was the official symbol of the local government of Dewsbury in the West Riding of Yorkshire. The borough was abolished in 1974 under the provisions of the Local Government Act 1972 whereby control was ceded to Kirklees Metropolitan Council and West Yorkshire Metropolitan County Council.
