[edit] This user is believed to be adding link spam

They added a link to Contemporary Christian music that was the same as the their user name. I question the Christian content of such a site that would stoop to this. Will (Talk - contribs) 17:50, 19 October 2006 (UTC)

Thanks for contributing to Wikipedia. Unfortunately, the commercial links/content you added were inappropriate, as Wikipedia is an encyclopedia and should not be used for advertising or a collection of external links. Don't remove talk material. You can archive it after a while, but not delete it. As for cmspin.com, if you really think it belongs, discuss it on the talk page. From your user name, you are clearly linked to this site. Will (Talk - contribs) 04:43, 21 October 2006 (UTC)

CMSpin.com is no different than CMCentral.com. Both are references to Contemporary Christian music. If you continue to delete CMSpin, I would also suggest you delete CMCentral.com. -CMSpin

The problem is who is adding it. If you really believe it belongs, talk about it on the talk page and wait for a consensus. Will (Talk - contribs) 05:27, 23 October 2006 (UTC)

I think you should read Wikipedia:Spam#How not to be a spammer. I also should have added the templates Template:Spam-n and/or Template:Welcomespam to your page when I first noticed the link. That would have helped you out. However, I did not know about the templates. Will (Talk - contribs) 05:58, 23 October 2006 (UTC)
