Clymene

In Greek mythology, Clymene or Klymenê ("famous might") is the name of at least eleven possibly distinct females.
- An Oceanid also called Asia, the wife of Iapetus. Mother of Atlas, Epimetheus, Prometheus, and Menoetius.
- An Oceanid, mother of Phaethon by Helios, sometimes as a full wife and mother also of the Heliades (essentially equated with Rhode) and sometimes as wife of Merops with whom Helios secretly lay.
- Daughter of Minyas, son of Poseidon and Euryanassa, daughter of Hyperphas. She married Phylacus son of Deion and bore a son, Iphiclus.
- A Nereid, daughter of Nereus and Doris
- Mother of Deucalion by Prometheus.
- Wife of Merops and Queen of Ethiopia, mother of Pandareus
- Mother of Atalanta and wife of Schoeneus or Iasus.
- Daughter of Catreus and mother of Palamedes by Nauplius.
- By Ares, mother of Diomedes
- A relative of Menelaus and a companion of Helen, together with whom she was carried off by Paris. After the taking of Troy, when the booty was distributed, Clymene was given to Acamas. She was represented as a captive by Polygnotus in the Lesche of Delphi.
