Cylda Rovers Gaelic Athletic Association club is situated in the parish of Mourneabbey in County Cork. The name of the club comes from the river which runs throughout the parish on its way to met the River Blackwater.

With a population of just under 1000 people Mourneabbey is one of the smallest parishes in Cloyne, yet Clyda Rovers is one of the most well known clubs in the county. For a long number of years Clyda played novice gaelic football and hurling but the last 20 years has seen a change in the fortunes of the club. Today the club plays Premier Intermediate Football in County Cork and its hurlers Junior A in the division of Avondhu North Cork.
